Stop Error – STOP 0x000000C2 or BAD_POOL_CALLER
Cause – A kernel-mode process or driver attempted to perform an illegal memory allocation. Can often also be a bug in a driver or software.
Step 1 – Go to Control Panel > Windows Memory Diagnostic or type run mdsched.exe in the start menu. (This will check your RAM for errors.)
Step 2 – Type cmd in the start menu and then type chkdsk /f in the DOS prompt.
Step 3 – Type cmd in the start menu, and then type verifier
Step 4 – From graphical user interface chose Create Standard Settings
Step 5 – Choose Automatically select all drivers installed on this computer.
Step 6 – If it crashes go back to safe mode and turn verified off with this command; verified /reset
Step 7 – Check the dump file with the application who-crashed from Resplendence website.
Step 8 – Remove or update the driver.
